Foodscape Long Beach - Sustainable gardening

A 100% volunteer run not-for-profit urban agriculture organization working toward food security in Long Beach, CA.

Mission

Foodscape Long Beach is a 100% volunteer run not-for-profit urban agriculture organization, operating under fiscal sponsorship of the Catalyst Network of Communities (a 501c3 non-profit). Foodacape LB builds and maintains sustainable food production systems on underused land, teach agricultural literacy, and facilitate access to food and other resources. Through this work, Foodscape LB's aim is to foster a culture of local growing, increase community interconnection, and aid under-served people. Our home in the Long Beach metropolis is dependent on imported food. We envision a sustainable and food secure future instead. We are here to demonstrate how well the resources at our disposal here can provide for everyone.

With your help, we can demonstrate how well the resources at our disposal can provide for everyone.

A modulation of our culture is necessary for a sustainable future, and we hope to accelerate that change.
